The Canary Islands Airline Will Progressively Upgrade Its ATR Fleet With 12 Of The Airplanes
The Spanish carrier Binter, based in the Canary Islands, has taken delivery of the first of 12 ATR 72-600s ordered through two different contracts signed in 2014 and earlier this year.
A pair of B737-800W full flight simulators will be delivered to China's Okay Airways Company Limited under a deal announced Monday by Lockheed Martin. Okay Airways is China's first private sector airline with both passenger and cargo routes throughout mainland China and the surrounding region.
Fuselage panels for Boeing's 747 jumbo jets will be built at its Macon, Georgia facility beginning in 2018. Boeing will take over the work from Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division, a wholly owned subsidiary of Triumph Group, Inc., with the Macon site providing assembled fuselage panels to Boeing's 747 final assembly line in Everett, Washington.
