Completes Purchase And Leaseback Of Two Bombardier Q400 NextGen Aircraft With Nok Air
GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, announced it added a new aircraft type to its owned fleet with the completion of a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with Nok Air involving two new Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops.
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced Tuesday that it will require additional time to reach a decision on Norwegian Air International’s (NAI) application for a foreign carrier permit to serve the U.S. from Europe. Until then, Norwegian Air Shuttle will continue to operate flights to the U.S. under its existing authority from DOT.
