The Companies Will Bring The First Device To Market Mid-2022
Lufthansa Aviation Training will be the first to launch the new L3Harris Technologies Boeing 787 Flight Training Device. Accompanying this order is the Boeing 787 Full Flight Simulator to be used for instruction alongside the 787 FTD at their Frankfort pilot training facility. The Boeing 787 FFS and FTD will be delivered to LAT’s Training Centre in Frankfurt by the second half of 2022. L3Harris has also developed and delivered two advanced A320 FTDs and an A350 FFS to LAT. The FTDs will allow airlines and training operators to reduce costs while preserving efficiency.
