Australian Airline Expands Capacity By Converting Ten MAX 8s To The Larger MAX 10 Model
Boeing and the Virgin Australia Group have announced the airline is adding the largest and most efficient member of the 737 MAX family to its growing single-aisle fleet. The carrier has converted ten orders for the 737 MAX 8 for the larger MAX 10 variant.
Private Researcher Suggests Malaysian Air Force Jet Intercepted The Airliner
A new theory has emerged in the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 that suggests the airliner was intercepted by a Malaysian Air Force fighter jet.
L2 Aviation has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate for the installation of the Rockwell Collins Iridium SATCOM system on A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft. While L2 has achieved similar STCs for the Iridium SATCOM installation on other airframes (including the 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777), this new STC represents L2’s first Iridium installation with Air Traffic Service (ATS) Safety Voice service.

Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, announced today that it expects 16.5 million passengers to fly worldwide on U.S. carriers over the weeklong Labor Day travel period that extends today through Tuesday, Sept. 4. This would constitute a 3.5 percent increase from the 16 million passengers estimated to have flown over the same holiday period last year.
