There's another new fee to tell you about, if you're traveling
on American Airlines. Effective October 1, anyone hoping to redeem
AAdvantage frequent-flier miles for upgrades or free trips will
need to spend $50 for the privilege.
JetBlue Asks Passengers For Help Trying Out New Terminal
It won't be the most thrilling airline trip out there... but at
least the price is right. JetBlue Airways says it will offer 1,000
of its frequent flyers the chance to try out the airline's new
terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport, free of
charge.

Americans are divided on whether cell phones should be allowed
during flights, with people age 65 and older more likely to oppose
their use than those between 18 and 34, according to a new Bureau
of Transportation Statistics (BTS) special report using survey data
on opinions about the transportation system.
Airline To Receive First Superjumbo On September 19
It looks like the first Airbus A380 for Qantas Airways will be a
late-summer arrival. The Australian flag carrier announced Friday
it will receive its first superjumbo during a September 19 delivery
ceremony in Toulouse.
