in the ditching of the ATR-72 off the coast of Sicily. Palermo
Prosecutor Piero Grasso told the Associated Press that 20 people
survived.

Inc.’s Airline Pilot Career Seminar, Airline Forum, & Job
Fair in Washington, DC, Saturday, August 20th, at the Sheraton
Crystal City Hotel. More than 300 prospective pilots looking for
airline jobs will get to meet face-to-face with more than 50
recruiters. At least 20 major, national, regional, fractional,
foreign, passenger, and cargo airlines attending the job fair are
looking for qualified and experienced candidates.
"Airline Pilot Screening and Recruiting" is the title and topic
of a special workshop on Aug. 29 and 30 in Atlanta. Sponsored by
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and AirTran, the event is open
and free to all airline recruiters who are responsible for hiring
new pilots.
