Biden Contemptuous of Red, White, and Blue

The Biden administration—after sending over $2-billion in war aid to Ukraine— has scrapped President Donald Trump’s red, white and blue design for the new generation of presidential aircraft. Biden—who pays seventy White House staffers almost $7-million to create and manage his social media content—made the tediously partisan move after an Air Force review suggested the paint-scheme—of all things—would raise costs and delay the delivery of two 747-800s Boeing is currently modifying to replace the existing Presidential fleet of two aging Boeing 747-200 aircraft.

SpiceJet Grounds Ninety Pilots

Faulty Simulator Component Engenders Training Inadequacies

SpiceJet, the Indian low-cost airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, has barred ninety of its 650, Boeing 737 MAX flight pilots from flying the aircraft after receiving a fine from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation—India’s civil aviation regulatory body. The fine was levied against the air-carrier after a 30 March 2022 surveillance check at a company simulator training facility turned up an inoperative stick-shaker on the first officer’s side of the simulator used to train pilots. The DGCA penalized the airline ≈ $12,888, ruling that the carrier’s pilot training had a negative impact on flight safety.

COVID-10 Testing of Air Travelers to End

But Don’t Get Used To It …

The Biden administration is expected to announce that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will lift its requirement for travelers to test negative for Covid-19 before entering the US; so state officials representing the White House and the CDC. The move will go into effect for US-bound air travelers at midnight on Sunday (12 June), the officials said. The CDC is lifting the manifestly unconstitutional restriction—that the travel industry had lobbied against for months—after determining, ostensibly, that it was no longer necessary "based on the science and data," the Biden administration official said.
