JetBlue Airways To Add A321XLR And Additional A220s To Its Fleet

Converts 13 A321neo Orders To XLR Variant

JetBlue Airways will add the A321XLR to its already large fleet of Airbus aircraft and increase its existing order for Airbus A220s. JetBlue has contracted to convert 13 existing A321neo orders into firm orders for the new A321XLR, which Airbus revealed last week at the Paris Air Show. Also, JetBlue has firmed up an order for an additional 10 A220-300 aircraft from existing options.

Aviation Partners Boeing (APB) announced today that Ukraine's SkyUp Airlines has become the first operator in Ukraine of its latest Split Scimitar Winglet technology. Installations have now been completed on two Boeing Next-Generation 737-700s and six 737-800s. Aviation Partners' latest Winglet design, the Split Scimitar Winglet, retrofits the existing Blended Winglets with new aerodynamic Scimitar tips while adding a large ventral strake, further increasing airplane efficiency.
