But Company Says Such An Airplane Would Not Fly For At Least 20 Years
A hypersonic airliner concept was unveiled by Boeing this week at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Atlanta. The passenger concept could have military or commercial applications; this is just one of several hypersonic vehicle concepts spanning a wide range of potential applications company engineers are studying.
Southwest Airlines has announced a Tentative Agreement has been reached with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), which represents the Company's 2,400 Employees in the Aircraft Mechanics and Related workgroup.
