Boeing, Japan Investment Adviser Announce Commitment For 10 737 MAX 8 Airplanes

Aircraft Valued At $1.12 Billion At List Prices

Boeing and Tokyo -based Japan Investment Adviser Co., Ltd., have announced a commitment to purchase 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8s. The commitment, valued at $1.12 billion at current list prices, will become JIA's first direct purchase of new airplanes. The order will be reflected on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website once it has been finalized.

Belavia Acquires Two Additional E-Jets For Its Embraer Fleet

One E175, One E195 To Be Delivered Next Year

Embraer and Belavia, Belarusian Airlines, the national carrier of Belarus, have announced a firm order for two current generation E-Jets: one E175 and one E195 - both for delivery in 2018. The firm order, which has value of $99.1 million, based on Embraer's current list price, will be included in Embraer's 2017 second-quarter backlog.

FlightSafety International has signed an agreement with Flight Simulation Technique Center Pvt Ltd. (FSTC) for the purchase of a full flight simulator for the Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator is scheduled to be installed at the FSTC training center in July 2018.

Represents Carrier's Fourth Order for Bombardier Q400 Turboprop Airliners

Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise is the previously undisclosed customer that signed a firm purchase agreement for five additional Q400 turboprop aircraft, according to Bombardier. Based on the list price of the Q400 aircraft, the contract is valued at approximately $162 million.
