Contract Negotiations Stall At The Bargaining Table
The Air Line Pilots Association International (ALPA),
representing pilots of Air Transat, announced plans to file for
conciliation with Canada’s Federal Mediation and Conciliation
Service (FMCS) as efforts to negotiate a collective agreement have
stalled.
The Air Transport Association of America (ATA) said Tuesday that
passenger revenue, based on a sample group of carriers, rose 21
percent in May 2010 versus the same month in 2009, marking the
fifth consecutive month of revenue growth.
Delta, Air France, KLM Execs And Unions Call The Agreement
"Historic"
The chief executive officers of Delta Air Lines, Air France and
KLM met Monday with pilot union leaders from their respective
airlines to sign a six-way Joint Venture (JV) Protocol.
