Two U.S.-based firms joined with PetroChina, other
representatives of the Chinese energy sector and the global
aviation industry in announcing the an agreement to evaluate the
possible establishment of a sustainable aviation biofuels industry
in China.
Latest E3E Engine Core Test Produced "Excellent Results"
Rolls-Royce says it has successfully run the latest core engine
build in its E3E two-shaft research program. E3E is
developing technologies which increase engine temperature, pressure
ratio and component efficiencies, together with a 25 per cent-plus
increase in thrust to weight ratios.
