E. Peters opined Friday.

In addition to her recommendation the FAA and the airlines it
oversees communicate better in regards to what constitutes
acceptable compliance with airworthiness directives, US
Transportation Secretary Mary Peters had another (and arguably
more substantive) announcement to make Friday: that per a new
federal rule, airlines must now report new and more complete data
on the time passengers spend on the tarmac.
Responding to customer feedback and current market demand, all
new Viking Twin Otter Series 400 airplanes will be furnished with
an integrated suite of avionics from Honeywell, according to Viking
Air. Official signing of the agreement took place May 6.
Embraer recently earned final approval from Russia’s
Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) for the 37 to 50-seat ERJ 145
regional jet family, comprised of the 37-seat ERJ 135, the 44-seat
