On April 13, 2017, the City of Burien received a letter from the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) stating they would be ceasing the North Flow flight patterns over Burien. The North Flow flight corridor, also known as the “New Route,” has caused significant noise impacts to Burien parks, schools, residential neighborhoods and other noise-sensitive areas, the city says.
Carrier Could Cancel Or Postpone Some Airbus Orders, CEO Says
With the market for long-range air travel looking like it might plateau in the next few years, Delta is looking at the airliners it has on order, and the result could be an issue for Airbus.
Boeing and Silk Way have announced an order for 10 737 MAX 8 airplanes. The order, valued at $1.1 billion at current list prices, was previously attributed to an unidentified customer on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website.
