The United Airlines Pilots Master Executive Council has issued a statement strongly critical of the Chicago Department of Aviation in connection with the incident which occurred on United Express Flight 3411.
As part of the celebrations for the 20 years of commercial operation of the 50-seat ERJ 145 jet, Embraer invited almost 30 operators of the jet family for a two-day Embraer Operators Conference (EOC), in Rio de Janeiro. The first commercial flight of the ERJ 145 occurred on April 6, 1997, with U.S. airline Continental Express.
