Boeing, Air Canada Finalize Order For 61 737 MAXs

Order Worth $6.5 Billion Represents Shift To Boeing Fleet

Boeing and Air Canada have finalized an order for 61 737 MAX airplanes to lead the airline's single-aisle fleet renewal plan. The order, valued at $6.5 billion at list prices, consists of 33 737 MAX 8s and 28 737 MAX 9s, as well as 18 options and 30 rights to purchase additional 737 MAXs.

Air Transat Selects Esterline CMC Electronics For Its A310 Fleet

Contract Covers CNS/ATM And FANS-1 Upgrade Program

Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) has been awarded a contract by Air Transat to upgrade the legacy Flight Management Systems (FMS) on the fleet of nine Air Transat A310-300 aircraft. CMC will supply its latest generation CMA-9000 FMS with Vertical Navigation and Future Air Navigation (FANS-1) functionality as part of the upgrade.
