Haiti-Based Sunrise Airways Announces Fleet Expansion

ATR 42-320 Paves The Way For Longer-Haul Routes

Sunrise Airways has announced that it will expand its fleet with the addition of a new 46-seat ATR 42-320 aircraft. The airline expects to accept delivery of the new ATR in late-February 2016 in advance of launching new routes better serving a wider swath of the Western Caribbean from its hub in Port-au-Prince.

ALPA Says Five-Year Deal Includes Many Improvements

Air Transat A.T. and the Air Line Pilots Association, Int'l. (ALPA) have reached a tentative agreement on a new five-year contract that includes significant improvements.  Union leaders and the airline came to terms after more than a year of direct negotiations and federal conciliation and follows the expiration of the current collective agreement on April 30, 2015.
