EgyptAir Named As Newest 787 Dreamliner Operator

Airline Leasing Six 787-9s From Largest Dreamliner Customer

EgyptAir has made a lease agreement with Boeing and AirCap that will place six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with the carrier. The national flag of Egypt, is leasing the airplanes from Dublin-based AerCap, the world's largest 787 customer with more than 115 787s owned or on order.

Leasing Company Calls Order A 'Sound Financial Investment'

Dublin-based CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC has placed a firm order for 90 A320neo Family aircraft during the Dubai Airshow 2017. The agreement was reached in two steps: an original purchase agreement signed in 2014 for 45 A320neo Family aircraft, which remained undisclosed to date, and the firming up of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) announced at the 2017 Le Bourget Paris Airshow in June 2017 for an additional 30 A320neo and 15 A321neo aircraft.

Bombardier Inks Order For Two New Q400 Turboprops With Nordic Aviation Capital

NAC Will Provide An Operating Lease To Jambojet Ltd Who Will Be The Operator Of The Aircraft In Kenya

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has concluded a firm purchase agreement for two new Q400 turboprops with Nordic Aviation Capital ("NAC") in September 2017. NAC will lease these two Q400 aircraft to Jambojet Ltd, based in Nairobi, Kenya. With the addition of these aircraft, NAC has increased its Q400 portfolio to 87 aircraft, and remains the largest fleet owner and lessor of the type in the world, while Jambojet will now operate three Q400 aircraft on lease from two lessors. Based on the list price of the Q400 aircraft, the firm order is valued at approximately $64 million.

Selection Announced At Dubai Air Show

The PurePower Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine to power up to 24 new Bombardier CS300 aircraft. The order was announced during an event at the Dubai Airshow, which was attended by officials from EgyptAir, Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney. It includes 12 CS300s with purchase rights for an additional 12 aircraft. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2018.
