UTC Aerospace Systems Completes First Set Of Electric Systems For C919

Initial Unit To Be Used For Laboratory Testing

The first set of electric systems for COMAC's new C919 jetliner have been produced by Xi'an AVIC Hamilton Sundstrand Aviation Electric Co., Ltd. (AUAE), a joint venture of UTC Aerospace Systems (through Hamilton Sundstrand Holdings, Inc.) and AVIC Shaanxi Aero Electric Co., Ltd. The system is scheduled for delivery in November.

The agreement provides access to Jeppesen's industry-leading digital navigation charts and NavData information through both FliteDeck Pro on Windows-based tablets and the e-Link online platform to reduce use of paper-based flight materials.
