Regime
The Los Angeles Times is quoting a spokesman for Korean Air,
which was founded in 1962 by the government of South Korea, as
saying the airline is "embarrassed and shocked" at the news that
one of its pilots started a pro-North-Korean propaganda website in
2006.
Represents First Direct Order With Airliner Manufacturer
Transportation finance company CIT Group has placed an order for
up to 30 Embraer 190 and/or Embraer 195 jets through its subsidiary
CIT Aerospace, ten of which are firm. Deliveries are scheduled
through 2015.

Scheduled passenger airlines reported a profit margin of 5.1
percent in the second quarter of 2011, up from the 0.5 percent loss
margin in the first quarter but a smaller profit margin than the
9.0 percent margin during the second quarter of 2010, according to
a report of preliminary data released Monday by the DOT's Bureau of
Transportation Statistics (BTS).
