Leasing company BOC Aviation said Tuesday it has finalized a
deal with Boeing for eight 777-300ERs (extended range) valued at
approximately $2.2 billion at average list prices.
Six Year Deal For Tailored Nacelle Services On A340-500
Fleet
Aircelle is to provide comprehensive maintenance services for
engine nacelle components on Singapore Airlines' A340-500 jetliners
under terms of a new umbrella contract reached by the international
carrier with Airbus for its "Flight Hour Services - Tailored
Support Package."
The airfare search engine Fly.com says it has begun to list
baggage fees for major airlines. The site's owners say the fees for
each flight appear clearly in the returned search results.
World air cargo traffic will expand at a 5.9 percent annual rate
over the next two decades, with worldwide air freight traffic
expected to triple through 2029, according to the Boeing World Air
Cargo Forecast 2010/2011.
