First B777 Delivered To Philippine Airlines

Boeing delivered a 777-300ER (Extended Range) to U.S.-based leasing company GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and its customer, Philippine Airlines (PAL) Wednesday. Two major U.S. carriers are making it more expensive to travel this holiday season, and others are expected to follow. Continental and American Airlines have announce additional surcharges on peak travel dates of as much as $30 per ticket.
