Aero-News has learned pilot groups for the recently merged US
Airways and America West will conduct informational picketing
Thursday to demonstrate what they term their increasing frustration
with management's unwillingness to fully participate in
negotiations for a fair, single contract.
Commercial space service provider Spacehab, Inc. told ANN
Wednesday its Astrotech Space Operations subsidiary has been
awarded a $20.0 million contract to design and build a payload
processing facility for the U.S. Government, Office of Space
Launch.
Aeromexico has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with
General Electric Company for the purchase of GEnx engines for the
Boeing 787-8 aircraft the carrier ordered earlier this week.
Aeromexico will also lease three GEnx-powered 787-8 aircraft from
International Lease Finance Corporation.
