Delivery Ceremony Took Place In Toulouse, France

Pratt & Whitney and JetSMART recently celebrated delivery of the airline’s first Airbus A320neo aircraft, leased through SMBC Aviation Capital and powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. The delivery ceremony took place in Toulouse with representatives from JetSMART, Airbus, SMBC Aviation Capital and Pratt & Whitney in attendance.

Dubai-based flydubai is the first operator in the Middle East of the latest Split Scimitar Winglet technology from Aviation Partners Boeing (APB).  flydubai completed the first installation of the Split Scimitar Winglets on one of its Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft late last month at Joramco in Amman, Jordan.  flydubai intends to install the Split Scimitar Winglets on a majority of its Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft by October 2020.
