Sunglasses, Palm Trees And The Golden Gate Bridge Included In New Design By San Francisco Resident

United has officially welcomed a one-of-a-kind, California-themed aircraft livery to its fleet – a Boeing 757 created by a San Francisco resident as part of the airline's national "Her Art Here" competition. Designed by artist Tsungwei Moo, the eye-catching plane is a tribute to the Golden State where United operates two major hubs – one in Los Angeles and the other in San Francisco – and features quintessential California imagery including sunglasses, palm trees and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Will Develop New Predictive Maintenance Cross-Fleet Solutions

Airbus and Delta Air Lines are forming a digital alliance to develop new predictive maintenance and health-monitoring solutions for airline customers worldwide from 2020. To be accessed via a unified portal through the Skywise platform, the cross-fleet solutions will harness each member’s expertise in airframes, systems and engines. Delta Air Lines will be the first user of the enriched predictive maintenance solution.
