Turkmenistan Airlines Resumes European Operations

EASA Reauthorizes Turkmenistan's Flag Carrier As Third Country Operator

As a result of the joint project with Lufthansa Consulting since February this year, Turkmenistan Airlines (TUA) has confirmed compliance with technical requirements related to air operations of Third Country Operators in the EU (Part-TCO). After the on-site audit by EASA in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan at the end of September, the European Safety Agency reauthorized the airline as a Third Country Operator (TCO) on October 11, 2019.
