Pilots Become Second Employee Group To Seek Conciliation In A Week
The pilots of Air Georgian, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), have filed a request for conciliation services with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). The pilots are the second Air Georgian employee group seeking conciliation, following the airline’s flight attendants’ request earlier last week.
Airline Had Initially Said All On Board Were Rescued
An Air Niugini Boeing 737 on approach to Chuuk Island airport in Micronesia landed in the water short of the runway on Friday, resulting is the loss of at least one of the persons on board, according to the airline.
