GAMA is welcoming the October 4 approval by the 38th General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) meeting in Montreal of a resolution that addresses greenhouse gas emissions from aviation.
Boeing and Jetstar Airways celebrated the delivery of the carrier's first 787 today, which is also the first Dreamliner for Australia. Jetstar's 787 Dreamliner departed Monday morning from Boeing's Everett, WA delivery center en route to Melbourne, Australia for a ceremony attended by airline employees and special guests.
