FLY Leasing Purchases New Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

Will Operate For LATAM Airlines In Europe

FLY Leasing Limited has taken delivery of a new B787-8 aircraft. The aircraft was acquired through a purchase and leaseback agreement with LATAM Airlines previously announced in July. The purchase was financed with funding from a European bank and FLY's own cash.

Birmingham Homeowners Sue Over UPS Accident

Claim Homes Were Damaged When The Plane Went Down

The owners of three homes in Birmingham, AL have sued UPS over the accident which occurred August 16 in which a UPS A300 went down short of the runway at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The four plaintiffs also named the Birmingham Airport Authority in their suit.

On a spectacular and colorful fall day in central Wisconsin, the Central County Airport Flyers helped one of their local members celebrate his 100th birthday. More than 50 airplanes and close to two hundred people came from near and far to help pilot Paul Johns celebrate his milestone birthday during their infamous Friday Fly In lunch at Iola (68C).
