Airlines for America (A4A) has issued a white paper on the transportation of jet fuel from refineries to airports, appealing to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to increase the transparency of pipeline data submissions and strengthen oversight to prevent over-recoveries and excessive returns. Such regulatory reforms are a critical step to ensure that interstate pipelines carrying gasoline, diesel, heating oil, jet fuel and other products invest in essential infrastructure and boost capacity and efficiency to keep pace with demand.

Embraer: E190-E2 Flight Test Results Confirm E2 Efficiency

Aircraft Nearing Certification, Company Says

As the E190-E2 new generation narrow-body jet approaches certification, Embraer announces some final results from flight tests confirming that the aircraft is better than its original specification and even more efficient than other single aisle aircraft. In fuel consumption, the E190-E2 proved to be 1,3% better than originally expected, which represents a 17,3% improvement when compared to the current generation E190, and nearly 10% better than its direct competitor.
