Over 25 Percent Of Merged Workforce Now Integrated
Delta Air Lines was notified by the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal
Association (AMFA) this week that pre-merger Northwest technicians
voted to approve an agreement on seniority integration.
But Overall Traffic Numbers Continue Steep Decline
The number of scheduled domestic and international passengers on
US airlines during October 2008 declined by 7.1 percent from
October 2007, dropping by 4.6 million to 59.6 million, in the 8th
consecutive monthly decline from the same month of the previous
year, the Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation
Statistics (BTS) reported Thursday.
