First Flight For A UAV Over A Fully Formed Hurricane
NASA completed a historic day for its hurricane research on
Thursday as it put the Global Hawk over Earl, marking the first
time the unmanned drone flew over a fully formed hurricane.

Due to the uncertainty of severe weather and conditions
associated with Hurricane Earl, NASA Langley Research Center's
Summer of Innovation Back to School event scheduled for Saturday,
September 4, at Williams Farm Park in Virginia Beach has been
postponed and will be rescheduled "in the near future."
