The FAA identified a recent software upgrade at the Leesburg, Virginia high-altitude radar facility as the source of last Saturday’s automation problems, which resulted in numerous flight cancellations and delays. The Academy of Model Aeronautics has launched a new program to encourage teamwork, competition, and success through a STEM-based education platform.
