ForeFlight has announced the availability of Scout, a portable, dual-band ADS-B receiver that delivers inflight weather and traffic information to the ForeFlight Mobile app in a small form-factor, retailing at $199 USD. “We are excited to bring Scout to market in collaboration with uAvionix,” said Tyson Weihs, ForeFlight co-founder and CEO. The Drone Racing League recently tested the fastest racing drone, and set the Guinness World Records title for the Fastest ground speed by a battery-powered remote-controlled quadcopter. Hand-built by DRL's Director of Product, Ryan Gury, and DRL's team of expert drone engineers, the drones fly at unprecedented high speeds.
