As the debt-ceiling debate rages in Washington, the Aerospace
Industries Association is expressing concern about cuts being made
to the budgets of NASA and NOAA in the House Appropriations
Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science markup of the fiscal
year 2012 appropriations bill.

Center for The Advancement Of Science In Space Will Help Ensure
Broad Access To Station Science
NASA has selected the Center for the Advancement of Science in
Space Inc. (CASIS) to develop and manage the U.S. portion of the
International Space Station that will be operated as a national
laboratory.
You have to give FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt credit for guts... as he stood in front of well over a hundred of the finest aviation educators and instructors in the nation and took questions... no holds barred. It was fun, gutsy and tremendously educational... and pretty darned frank, too. The questions followed his address entitled, “Meeting the Training Challenges of the Second Century of Flight” on the second day of the two-day SAFE Symposium.
