U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) and U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) have introduced S. 1320, the Forward Looking Investment in General Aviation, Hangars, and Tarmacs (FLIGHT) Act of 2017. The FLIGHT Act will give General Aviation (GA) airports more flexibility to facilitate infrastructure investment by using existing sources of funding. The FAA has fully certified the Bell Jet Ranger X helicopter almost exactly four years after being introduced as the Bell Short Light Single (SLS) at the Paris Airshow on June 17, 2013.
