Amid recent reports of yet another sinking of an Icon A5 airframe, a heretofore unsuccessful attempt to raise more capital, and GAMA stats showing that Icon’s promised production targets are not being met, along comes news of company layoffs. An Icon A5 was sunk in Washington state last week after witnesses reported it to have suffered a hard landing... not the first such report. The airframe sunk to wing level and required winching out of the water, for repair. Shrinking Moon May Be Generating Moonquakes

Diameter has Decreased More than 150 Feet Over The Last Several Hundred Million Years

The Moon is shrinking as its interior cools, getting more than about 150 feet skinnier over the last several hundred million years. Just as grape wrinkles as it shrinks down to a raisin, the Moon gets wrinkles as it shrinks. Unlike the flexible skin on a grape, the Moon's surface crust is brittle, so it breaks as the Moon shrinks, forming "thrust faults" where one section of crust is pushed up over a neighboring part.
