First Russian-Designed Spacecraft To Launch From French
Guiana
The latest addition to Arianespace's launcher family made its
world debut Monday at the vehicle's new base of operations, as the
first Soyuz was rolled out to the Spaceport's launch pad in French
Guiana.
The SETI Institute, which for years has operated an array of
radio telescopes scanning the sky for signs of intelligent
extra-terrestrial life, has been forced to shut the effort down due
to a lack of funding.

Qualification Review Board. I2 (which stands for "Igniting
Innovation) is the latest technology-based economic development
initiative led by Space Florida and the Technological Research and
Development Authority (TRDA).
