The ranks of those honored in the Astronaut Hall Of Fame swelled
by five over the weekend, as Dick Scobee, Frederick Gregory,
Kathryn Sullivan, Norm Thagard and Richard Covey were inducted.
Aircraft design pioneer Burt Rutan will present a very special
evening program at Theater in the Woods entitled "Fun at Mojave,"
on Thursday, July 29, during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2004. The
presentation will most likely include the latest information
regarding two major projects - White Knight/SpaceShipOne and
GlobalFlyer - in progress at Rutan's aircraft design company,
Scaled Composites, located at Mojave Airport (CA).
