Continental Aerospace Technologies with be powering Diamond Aircraft’s DA50 with their 300 hp, Jet-A fueled CD-300 engine. The CD-300, certified in December 2017, is a Jet-A fueled piston engine, producing 300 HP, at 9.2 US Gallons per hour, and 2300 RPM. "Matching the CD-300 Jet-A engine with the new DA50 aircraft by Diamond Aircraft Industries is a rekindling of the relationship that created the original successful Jet-A piston powered aircraft." said Rhett Ross, President and CEO, Continental Aerospace Technologies. Maxar Technologies has announced that the spacecraft bus it is building for NASA's Restore-L project to refuel a satellite in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) has completed an important review process called the Critical Design Review (CDR).
