Airborne 04.23.15: DA62 Cert, Flight Design's C4, Sporty Transitions, 1st Flight Fight

The Diamond DA62 has received its EASA Type certificate. After a sunny and warm day Wednesday, the "Sun" portion of "Sun 'n Fun" was kind of scarce on Thursday, but off-and-on rainshowers, and even the occasional thunderstorm, didn't stop people from enjoying the show. Aspen announced the pricing for its Angle of Attack software at the show on Thursday, and ANN's Jim Campbell got a chance to fly with the company's new A-O-A indicator ... which will cost just under two-thousand dollars. NASA has extended and increased the value of its contract with Wyle Integrated Science and Engineering Group of Houston to provide continuing support to the Human Health and Performance Directorate at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.
