While the aviation world reels back from various concerns due to the world-wide pandemic, even the massive AUVSI Tradeshow, XPONENTIAL , has had to announce a postponement. AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2020, was to be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on May 4 to 7, 2020. AUVSI has identified Aug. 10 to 12, 2020, as tentative dates to reschedule the event. Marillyn A. Hewson To Become Executive Chairman

The Board of Directors of Lockheed Martin has elected James D. Taiclet, 59, as president and CEO, effective June 15. Taiclet will continue to serve as a member of the corporation's board, which he joined in 2018. He has served as chairman, president and CEO of American Tower Corporation since 2004 and CEO since 2003. During that time, American Tower grew significantly and increased its market capitalization from approximately $2 billion to approximately $100 billion.

Orion Spacecraft For Artemis I Mission Marks Milestone

Successfully Completes Major Testing Of Simulated Space Conditions

The Orion spacecraft for NASA’s Artemis I mission has successfully completed several months of simulated space environment System level testing in the NASA-owned thermal vacuum chamber at Plum Brook Station in Ohio. The tests were conducted in two phases; a 47 day thermal vacuum test and a 14 day electromagnetic compatibility and interference test in ambient conditions which both simulate the conditions the spacecraft will encounter during its voyage to the Moon and back to Earth.
