A small California aerospace company unveiled Wednesday a new,
self-contained, suborbital spaceship, designed to provide
affordable front-seat rides to the edge of space for the millions
of people who want to buy a ticket.
They make it look so easy. Moments ago, shuttle pilot Dominic
Gorie brought Endeavour in for a by-the-numbers, on-the-numbers
landing at the Shuttle Landing Facility adjacent to Florida's
Kennedy Space Center.
Let's face it: NASA never expected in its wildest dreams to be
still be funding the Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity... as they
