Rotax unveiled another option for its range of light aircraft engines with a 24 volt option on its 915iS.The change will "provide pilots with a wide range of opportunities to upgrade their cockpits and flying experience - without added engine weight." The new 915iS C24 enables aircraft to operate 24V aircraft board systems, digital displays, glass cockpits, and reserves for auxiliary instruments, tablets, and gadgets. NASA called the last year its "busiest year of development yet in low-earth orbit", capping off 2021 with a review of its accomplishments. Space Tourism Team Created to Pave Way for Passenger Carriage

Airship research and development outfit UAV Corporation opened a new space-focused division in preparation for low-Earth orbit tourism. With the kernel of a team to spearhead development, the first order of business is to begin design of the pressurized, vital tourist cabin. Once the project is underway, they will be followed by propulsion experts and ground support for launch/recovery for the large "space airship." UAV will likely follow in the same vein as similar tourist companies Battelle and Space Perspectives, lofting passengers to high altitude in calm, slowly ascending airship tethered cabins.
