ANN regrets to confirm that RedBull Champion Race Pilot, skydiver and airline Captain, Mike Mangold, has perished in an accident at Apple Valley Airport, in Southern California. A local witness claims that he saw Mangold's L-39 jet with, “...flames were coming out of the end and suddenly it banked to the left and crashed.” Mangold hailed from Victorville, California, and worked as an American Airlines 757/767 Captain. Robinson’s R66 Turbine helicopter has passed the FAA's and Transport Canada's tests to allow flight in snow conditions. Orbital ATK's Cygnus Spacecraft Successfully Launched To ISS

First of Four Cygnus Cargo Missions Scheduled For NASA Over the Next Year

A Cygnus spacecraft was successfully launched Sunday on a mission to resupply ISS aboard a ULA Atlas V launch vehicle from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The unmanned cargo vessel was loaded with approximately 7,700 pounds of cargo for the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS), beginning the company’s fourth operational cargo resupply mission for NASA.
