SpaceX launched and recovered the first stage of the upgraded Falcon booster, as planned, late Sunday night... putting SpaceX clearly in the aero-history books, and 11 ORBCOMM satelites into orbit, as well. NASA has awarded a multi-million dollar contract to develop on-orbit robotic satellite assembly technology to Space Systems Loral (SSL).
