SpaceX Targets January For California Launch

Would Boost The Jason-3 Satellite For NOAA From Vandenberg AFB

SpaceX is planning a return to operations this week with a launch of a group of 11 ORBCOMM satellites Saturday night ... if a static fire test goes well. But the company is also looking ahead to a launch for NOAA in January from Vandenberg AFB in California.

ESA, Arianespace Ink James Webb Space Telescope Launch Contract

Delivery Into Space Planned For October 2018

ESA and Arianespace announced have signed a launch services contract for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), to be orbited by an Ariane 5 ECA launch vehicle from the Guiana Space Center, Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. The launch is planned for October 2018.
