This holiday season, Intel Shooting Star mini drones are helping to delight audiences in “The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.” During this year’s new final scene, up to 100 Intel mini drones will create a groundbreaking magical holiday drone light show over the Great Stage of Radio City using choreographed movements to create holiday-themed silhouettes. This large-scale integrated drone performance will mark the first of its kind for theater and for Intel. Small Satellites Flying High With $37 Billion Market By 2027

NSR Anticipates Strong Growth In Smallsat Market Driven By Constellations, Despite Numerous Challenges

The recently-released NSR Small Satellite Markets, 5th Edition (SSM5) forecasts the market to yield $37 billion in cumulative revenues from smallsat manufacturing and launch services by 2027, with 6,500 smallsats set to launch during this time. Constellations will be the dominating factor of this growth, making up over 70% of the total market. While growth is anticipated across all applications, communications will drive the largest share of revenues, with some of the largest constellations planned in this segment.

SpaceX To Transport More Than 20 U.S. National Laboratory Payloads To ISS

Launch Of Company's 16th Mission To ISS Scheduled For Next Tuesday

SpaceX is targeting no earlier than December 4 at 1:38 p.m. EST for its 16th commercial resupply mission (awarded by NASA) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft will bring approximately 300 kilograms of research and hardware facilities to the orbiting laboratory under the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory flight allocation. There are more than 20 payloads included on this mission sponsored by the ISS National Lab.
