NASA and the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) are
sponsoring a competition for engineering ideas, with the winning
design possibly becoming part of an actual space project. The 2010
Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts Academic Linkage or
RASC-AL contest is aimed at engineering students.
Hopes To Rekindle Interest In A German Moon Expedition
Team c-base Open Moon, a German group that includes physicians,
businessmen, and engineers, announced its official entry into the
Google Lunar X Prize Thursday. Headquartered in Berlin,
Germany, the team is comprised of 5 members and is one of 20 teams
from ten countries that are competing for the prize.
