$1.2 Million Grant To Be Used Developing New Airspace Usage
Algorithms
NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate has awarded $1.2
million to George Mason University of Fairfax, VA for work
described in its NASA research announcement proposal entitled
"Market-based and Auction-based Models and Algorithms for En-route
Airspace Allocation and Configuration."
On Monday, January 5, NASA issued a request for proposal for the
Ares V rocket that will perform heavy lift and cargo functions as
part of the next generation of spacecraft that will return humans
to the moon.

astronauts and Peanuts' barnstorming beagle. In May 1969, Apollo 10
astronauts Gene Cernan, John Young and Thomas Stafford traveled all
the way to the moon for one final checkout before the lunar landing
attempt.
